My mother Yvonne Jasinski passed away this morning...I am writing this to inform anyone who may not know yet or would like to know what happened.
Complications from cancer eventually led to her demise...she was not in pain during her last moments, and she has been fighting this battle for almost 5 years.
I was with her every step of the way along with Norman Teitsworth who has done more for her than I can ever thank him enough for. A perfect partner. Thank you, Norm. Similarly, her best friend Jolanta Kaczmarczyk, thank you.
While it is devastating to lose such an icon...I hope her friends and those who cared about her will find solace in the fact that she went out doing exactly what she loved: traveling, telling stories, making connections with people, and most importantly...laughing (she had the ability to make anyone laugh to the point of crying tears of joy).
So despite the fact that today's tears came to her loved ones for a different reason I think there a few important things to note. At the end of her most recent epic vacation (a 3 month road trip), her body eventually became too weak to keep up with her wonderful mind. Most importantly, she will live on forever through the SO MANY people who knew her, our memories and love for her eternal.
RIP and Safe Travels, Mom.
I love you. ❤️
