William E. Taylor, Sr.

William E. Taylor Sr., Ransom Twp., died Sunday morning at Allied Hospice.  His widow is Elizabeth Ann Mathews Taylor.

Born in Newburg, New York he was the son of the late William and Anne Bauerle.  Prior to his retirement he was a Senior Product Document Specialist for IBM Corp. in Fishkill, NY; Data Entry/Office Manager for Dutchess Temps in Poughkeepsie, NY and a Case Manager at DC BOCES in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a United States Naval Veteran, serving aboard the USS Taconic and a member of the Light of Christ Church.

He loved spontaneous rides to wherever, family time, cookouts, reading his Bible, sports, antique car shows, and local ballgames.  He was always there for family and friends.

Also surviving are three sons, Michael P. Bauerle, Shawn P. Bauerle and William E Taylor Jr., Long Island, NY; two daughters Kelly A. Benson, Albrightsville, PA and Laurie A. Davis, Peckville, PA; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Mark S. Davis.

A memorial service will be held on October 10 at noon in the Light of Christ Church, 2067 Moosic Lake Rd., Mount Cobb (Jefferson Twp.) with services by Pastor Patricia Sandone-Lee.  Friends may call from 11am until the time of the service at the church.
