William O. Dickinson, died Sunday morning at home in Falls Township.
His wife is the former June Keller. The couple was married 61 years last October.
Born in Falls Township, son of the late Alfred and Hilda Johnson Dickinson, he was a lifelong resident of Falls Township. Bill was a self-employed farmer and also drove a school bus for the Abington Heights School District for more than 40 years. A Navy veteran, he served during World War II. He was a member of Schultzville United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis and Ralph; and a daughter, Donna Sluck, all of RR Dalton; a brother, Richard, Lake Winola; a sister, Norine Carpenter, Dalton; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth; and two sisters, Jean Urban and Audrey Landsiedel.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Schultzville United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Greenwood Cemetery.
