Warren LeRoy Grill, Clarks Summit, PA, died Friday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. His wife, Jean Parker Grill, died in 2010.
Born in Mohnton, PA, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Katie Rudy Grill.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania. Upon retirement he started a Handyman Business and continued to enjoy woodworking, singing, volunteering and socializing with the Rusty Zippers. He was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Alaska in the South Pacific Theater.
Surviving are sister, Edith Stauffer, Shillington, PA; a son, Scott, New Milford, PA; three daughters, Wendy McNelis and husband, Dr. James McNelis, Emmaus, PA; Lisa Copeland and husband, Robert Copeland, Park City, UT, and Melissa Keffer, GA; two grandchildren, Meredith McNelis and Dr. Melissa McNelis and husband Steven Spillane; and great granddaughter Mackenzie Spillane.
Friends may call at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 16 at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, 300 School Street, Clarks Summit, PA 18411. A service will follow immediately, delivered by Rev. William Carter. Interment to follow at the Dunmore Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit or Shriner's Hospital for Children ( www.shrinerschildrens.org/en/giving ) in his name.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S State Street, Clarks Summit.
