Waldemar Madera, 61, So. Abington Twp., died Friday at Golden Living Center in Scranton. His wife is the former Digna Gonzalez.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Jose A. and Rosa Sanoquet Madera. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed baseball, basketball and football. Prior to retirement he worked as a trackman for the New York Transit Authority.
Also surviving are two sisters, Yvonne Paniagria and Rose Marie Rodrigurez.
