Virginia M. Holland, 84, of Factoryville died Sunday morning at Abington Manor. She was the widow of the late Donald C. Holland.
Born in Falls, daughter of the late Clyde G. and Alice Foster Spencer, she was a graduate of Waverly High School, and went on to earn her associate degree. Before her retirement, she worked as a legal secretary for a firm in Washington, D.C.
Surviving is a brother Richard Spencer and his wife Nancy, Factoryville; a nephew Michael Spencer and his wife Michele and their children, Melissa, Eric, and Nichole.
The family would like to thank the staff at Abington Manor for their compassionate care.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours. Entombment will take place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home.
