Vincent D. Breen of Marco Island, FL., currently residing in Tunkhannock, PA,

died Monday evening, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was the widow of the former Sarah E. Aldrich Breen, who passed away in 2010. The couple had been married 57 years.

Born July 2, 1929 in New York City, he was the son of the late Thomas and Susan Copper Breen. He was a long time Resident of New Milford, NJ; with summers spent in Cherry Valley, NY; and for the past 20 years, snowbird wintering in Marco Island, FL.

While raising his family he was a proud veteran of the Armed Services 107th Infantry; sole proprietor of County Auto Electric in Tenafly, NJ; a 20 year member of United Association of BTJ Pipefitter Refrigeration Local 274 Jersey City, NJ; and a charter member of Tenafly, BPOE Elks.

He is survived by 3 children: Barbara McNally and husband Kevin of Morristown, NJ; Michael Breen and wife Barbara Jean of Tunkhannock, Pa; Marie Breen Dunbar of New Milford, NJ. and 8 grandchildren Maureen and Brian McNally; Stephen and wife Samantha, Gregory and Timothy Breen; and Kyle, Kasey and Kelly Dunbar.

A Memorial Service will be held in New Jersey on Friday, December 18. Interment will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, New York on Saturday, December 19.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
