Vera May Knorr, of Amherst,NY, died Sunday, March 8, 2015. She was 100.
Ms. Knorr was born one of 10 children to Augustus and Magdelena, in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In 1944, she moved to Western New York.She worked at AM&A clothing store for nearly 30 years. For much of the time she lived in the Buffalo area, she resided with her sister, Madeline.
Ms. Knorr was most recently a resident of St. Francis Nursing Home in Williamsville. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Her burial service will be held June 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Abington Hills Cemetery.
Upon Vera's request, Pastor Scott Loomer from Covenant Presbyterian Church will officiate.
