Timothy J Horan

Timothy J. Horan, 55, of Clarks Green, died Tuesday morning in the VNA Hospice unit at Geisinger CMC, Scranton.

Born in Prince Georges County, MD, he was the son of Robert D. Horan, Clarks Green and the late Loretta Solack Horan who died in 2001.

He was a 1978 graduate of Abington Heights High School and was a co-owner of Boulevard Rental. He was a member of Church of St. Gregory's in Clarks Green. Tim had many devoted friends who were truly special to him. He loved animals, and was an avid sports fan, especially football and racing. Tim also enjoyed spending time with his family at Woodloch Pines.

Also surviving are his companion Dodie Kresge, and her children, a sister, Dianne M. Buckwash and her husband David G., Harrisburg; three brothers, Robert and his wife Joan, Kirkwood NY, Richard and his wife, Linda, S. Abington Twp., and Patrick and his wife Jeryl, Carpentersville, Illinois. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, David and Maretta Buckwash, Jessica and Jason Gildea, Catherine Horan and fiancee' Anthony Kunecki, and Paul Gaskill. He had two beloved dogs, Max and Murphy.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Loretta who died in 1957 and a brother David who died in 1963.

A Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 7 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 pm until time of service.

Tim was always very quick with a joke and had a unique sense of humor. To all his friends that knew Tim well, he says "Addidas" to you.
