It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Timothy Gray, 35, of Scranton, Friday , April 22, at home.
Born on Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, he was the son of John Gray, Augusta, GA, and Terry [Northup] English and her husband Mark English, Westfield, PA.
Tim enjoyed volunteering for Friends of the Poor Scranton, cycling, cooking, spending time with friends and the ocean.
Also left to cherish his memory are his sister Jasmine (Mark) Davies, his maternal grandmother Elsie Northup, step-sister Tricia (Jerry) Plank, step-brothers Anthony (Heather) English and Jaime English, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William (Betty) Gray of Troy and Mary Louise Gray of Towanda, and his maternal grandfather Frank P. Northup of Knoxville.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., Clarks Summit, PA.
