Thomas R. Rosenkrans 1-29-10 Picture
Thomas R. Rosenkrans, of Scott Twp., died Friday morning at Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle with Leukemia. His wife is the former Judy Evans. The couple has been married for 35 years.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Thomas and Shirley Jenkins Rosenkrans, he was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and Marywood University, and he was a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. He was employed as a computer consultant for Diversified Technologies and the P.D.M. Co. (Burger King). A member of the Glen Oaks Country Club, Tom thoroughly enjoyed Golfing.
He had a multitude of friends whom he valued, especially his computer and golfing friends. He especially enjoyed his social gatherings with his family at the pool.
Also surviving are 2 sons David, and wife Leah, Scott Twp.; and Jason, and companion Courtney Evans, Childs; a grandson Chase who was the light of his life; one sister Barbara McIlwee , and husband Tom, Clarks Summit, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St Clarks Summit, with mass at 9:30am in Holy Rosary Church, William ST. Scranton. Interment Abington Hills Cemetery.
