Thomas E. Little, Dalton, passed away on October 8 th at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His partner of 29 years is Janet Davis.
Born in Luzerne County, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine Merrick Little. He was a 1957 graduate of Scranton Technical High School and Plumbing Technical School. Thomas was a Mechanical Contractor who owned and operated his own business. He was a member of the Plumbers Union and enjoyed his times at the Taurus Club and the Waldorf.
Although he was a workaholic who lived and often talked about his work, he also enjoyed auto racing, parties, off-color jokes, sarcasm, family functions, and road trips. His favorite past-time, though, was definitely eating. Some eat to live, but Tom lived to eat. His ability to make a meal last for hours was legendary among those who knew him.
Surviving are sons Robert T., Scranton, and Edward M. and wife Sharon, Covington; daughter Rosann Springer and husband Ronald, Madison Township; Janet's son, John W. Davis and wife Wendy, Clarks Summit; grandchildren Johnathan C. Day, Jr., Madison Township; Shelby DeCato, California, Christopher Little, Las Vegas, Melissa Walsh and husband Taran, North Carolina, Logan Rodrigues, Covington, and Landon, Aaliyah, and Tyler Davis, all of Clarks Summit; great grandchildren Ryker Cole and Charleigh Little, Las Vegas; and ex-wife Geraldine Cushing and her husband Daniel, both who remained his close friends.
A service will be held on Sunday, October 17th at 5 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit with services by The Rev. John W.
