Thomas E. Brink, Clarks Summit, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 10, 2022.  He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Jean Smith Brink.

Born May 19, 1947 in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of the late Donald E. and Nellie VanVleck Brink.  Tommy started working at a young age, always having a strong work ethic.  Before retirement he was employed at Met Life in Clarks Summit for 37 years.  He was a proud Army veteran where he did a tour in Vietnam.

Tommy enjoyed working outdoors, taking care of the yard, prepping the flower beds for his wife, and making sure the cars were always in showroom condition. In the past, he also restored a couple Plymouth Barracudas.

He was a wonderful husband, father and a terrific grandfather, known as "Grampie". He would always attend every activity.

Also surviving are his daughter Lori Pollack and her husband Stuart, Clarks Summit; son Michael and his wife Cindy, Dalton; grandchildren Christina Chermak, Brittney Brink, Brad (Morgan) Brink, Samantha, Melissa and Breonna Pollack; four great grandsons Aidan Megivern, Isaac, Henry and Elliot Brink; brother Richard Brink; sister Sandy Brink; sister-in-law Carolyn Kundrata; brother-in-law John (Cecilia) Smith; nephews, a niece, and extended family members.

A memorial service with military honors will be Friday at 11 am from the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, 1300 Morgan Highway, Clarks Summit with services by Rev. John Mackey, pastor.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
