Theresa Lapczynski

Theresa Lapczynski, 93, of Moosic, PA, formerly of Fords, passed away peacefully at Abington Manor on Sunday, January 16, 2022.She enjoyed her time raising eight children before returning to the work force at Garden State Shipping in Keasbey, NJ. She had a love for crocheting, cooking and gardening. Poppy seed rolls were her favorite.

She was born in Ebensburg, PA on July 23, 1928 to her loving parents, Peter Illig and Mildred (nee. Rudolph).

Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Frank Lapczynski; her two sister, Geraldine and Bernice, and her brother, Peter.

She is survived by her eight children, Charlotte, Lucy, Rita, Nancy, John, James, Mark, and Patricia; two son-in-laws, Ben and Chuck; two daughter-in-laws, Michele and Renee; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa's family will be having a Celebration of Life around her birthday in July. Details to follow at a later date.
