Stuart Davies of Clarks Summit died Saturday at Osprey Ridge Health Center, Carbondale.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Major Davies. Before retiring, he was a self-employed truck driver. His passion in life was fishing in Canada and hanging out with his buddies at local diners. Stuart was co-founder of Abington Astro Junior Football Organization.
Surviving are two sons, Chris, Clarks Summit; and Cory, New Jersey; a daughter, Kim Davies, Jessup; a sister, Shirley Pierre, Scranton; and two grandchildren, Conor and Ryan Davies.
He also was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Arlene Lenahan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
