Simone Linhares, 27, of Scranton, died Sunday evening at Community Medical Center, Scranton, after being stricken ill. Her husband of nearly seven wonderful years is Wolney Linhares.
Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, daughter of Domingos Castro, Brazil, and the late Katia Castro, she was employed as a sales manager for LOH Enterprises.
Simone and Wolney were married Feb. 25, 2005. She loved to travel and took the most joy out of raising her newborn son. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A loving mother, wife and daughter, Simone will be missed by all who knew her.
She is also survived by a son, Victor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 5 p.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church, 1309 W. Locust St., Scranton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the church from 3 until the time of service.
