Shirley M. Siegrist, Dalton, died Friday at
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Glenn C. Siegrist,
who died in July 2006.
Born in Saint Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late
Francis and Marjorie Voekler. She has been a resident of North
Abington township for the past 30 years. She was a missionary for the
Baptist Mid Missions and a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Andrew C. and his wife,
Donna, Fleetville and Peter A. And his wife, Faith, Lititz, Pa.; six
grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Matthew, Jeremiah, Kyle and Kara; nieces
and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by two brothers, James
and Jack Voekler.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11am From the
Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Vernard Road, Clarks Summit, with
services by Rev. David Culver, pastor. Interment will be in Hickory Grove
Cemetery, Waverly.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the
Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 South State Street, Clarks Summit
and Wednesday 10am until time of the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of
Heritage Baptist Church.
