Shirley J. Quick, of Clarks Summit, died Monday at Bay Medical Center, Panama City, Fla. Her husband is Jonas C. Quick. The couple was married 55 years in June.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Charles and Rose Ekey Deming, she had been a resident of Glenburn Township since 1962. Before retiring, she was a cafeteria worker for the Abington Heights School District for 26 years.
Surviving are a son, Bruce, Nicholson; a daughter, Katherine Nesko and husband, Michael, Clarks Summit; a grandson, Cody Quick; two granddaughters, Jessica and Amy Altieri; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Madison.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Norman T. Faux, pastor of Chinchilla United Methodist Church. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Glendale.
