Shawn Michael Stockdale

Shawn Michael Stockdale, 54, entered heaven on September 27, 2017 after a valiant battle following his fourth open heart surgery. He was known and respected for his love for God, devotion to his family, loyal friends, and his steadfast character.

Shawn was born to George Stockdale and the late Nancy Hopkins Stockdale in McKees Rocks, PA on October 9, 1962.

He graduated from Clarks Summit University in 1984 and after serving as a Youth Pastor, became a Financial Advisor, a job he loved for over 25 years.

Shawn is survived by "his lovely wife" Kay, his children: Bethany, and husband Kenny Kirby, Brynna, and husband Brent Hoban, Micah, and wife Lizzy, Caleb, Talia, and "adopted" daughter Anna Campos, his grandchildren Jamieson, Ava, and Calla Kirby, and Calen John Stockdale (coming soon), and brothers Chris and Mark and their families; and Kelli and Keenan, half sister and brother. He is also survived by too many "best friends" to count and numberless other "adopted" children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Stockdale.

There will be a visitation from 1:00-4:00pm at Clarks Summit University, 538 Venard Rd. Clarks Summit, PA, on Sunday, October 1, 2017, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00pm.

Donations in Shawn's honor may be made to Clarks Summit University or Parker Hill Community Church.
