Sharon I. Ward, 72, Newton Twp., died Tuesday at Regional Hospital. She was the wife of Warren Ward.
Born on July 11, 1946, in Morristown, N.J., the daughter of the late Daniel and Ruth Nunn Pasquale, she was a member of the Bethel Church of San Jose and served as a counselor who had a passion for women's ministries. Sharon worked as a technical writer for various electronic companies.
Her hobbies included fiber arts, weaving, spinning and knitting. She was a member of the Spider's Web Spinning Guild. Sharon enjoyed tai chi and gardening and was a Penn State Master Gardener.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Debbi, Sacramento, Calif.; William, Vallejo, Calif.; Cari, San Jose, Calif.; Michael, Newnan, Ga.; and Brent, Sonoma, Calif.; grandchildren, Joey, Shawn, Albert, Joshua, Isaiah, Jasmine, Greg, Nicholas, Ashley, Katelyn, Carmen, Cassie, KyleeAnn and Lily; great-grandchildren, Brody, Allison, Joshua Junior, Anthony and KyleeAnn; siblings, Daniel Pasquale, Brentwood, Calif.; Toni Strahan, Carlsbad, Calif.; and sister-in-law, Stevie Magdalena, San Jose, Calif.
She was also preceded in death by grandson, Michael; and brothers, Dr. Steve Pasquale and James Pasquale.
Interment took place at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
