Santo M. Gabriel, Jr.

Santo M. Gabriel, Jr., 61, died at Geisinger CMC, Scranton on Thursday.

Born in Scranton and a lifelong resident of Clarks Summit, he was the son of Santo Gabriel, Sr. and the late Annette Rutkauskas. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and attended Lock Haven University. Santo was a well-known musician and a self-employed businessman. His great love in life was music, especially the Blues, and he loved to play the guitar. He enjoyed being around his family and friends in the music industry and entertaining and inspiring people with his creative talents. He liked barbequing, cooking, the countryside, log homes, the Kansas City Chiefs, and had a great love of wildlife and animals, especially his dog Spike.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Mark A. Gabriel and Garett CM Gabriel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society.

Sammy will be dearly missed by all that all knew him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
