Ruth H. Norton, nee Jackson, passed away Wednesday after a lengthy illness. She was one of five children born to the late Howard and Evelyn Gibbs Jackson. She was a graduate of Wellsboro high school.
Surviving is her loving son Marc, for whom she worked tirelessly to give the best possible life, and his wife Anita; a brother Russell and his wife Karen, Lake Winola; a sister Lin Dennebaum, and husband James; Dalton; and a sister in law, Sheila Jackson, Plano, TX, all of whom helped her through her final years
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Don.
A memorial service will be held in the spring, a time of renewal and rebirth, to celebrate her life, rather than mourn her death.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 Keyser Ave Taylor Pa 18517, so that they may help others as they helped her.
