Ruth E. Fritsch, Friendsville died Monday evening at the Golden Living Center in Scranton. She was the widow of Alfred H. Fritsch who died in 1970.
Born in Endicott NY she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Place Striley. She was a charter member of the South Vestal Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter Marlene Fritsch, Scranton; a step daughter Janice Branning and her husband Duane, Friendsville; step grandchildren Debby Branning and her husband Lou, Pam Branning, Shelley Lupole, Dana Branning and his wife Leanne, Robert Branning, Karin Kinney, William VanDuzer and his wife Kathy and Lori Anderson and her husband Shawn.
She was preceded in death by a step daughter Ola VanDuzer; a sister Florence Conklin; three brothers Harry, Leo, Elbert, William and Richard Striley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the River Hurst Cemetery in Endicott NY.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
