Ruth L. Farrel of Clarks Summit died Friday morning at Abington Manor Nursing Facility.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Andrew and Olga Holtzman Morris Sr., she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Clarks Summit. She attended Lackawanna Business College and before retirement, she worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Clarks Summit, and the Bendix Corp., Montrose.
Surviving are three brothers, Andrew H. Jr. and Clyde R., both of Chinchilla; and Edward R. Morris, Scranton; and a sister, Mildred Stacknick, Chinchilla.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Lawrowski.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Fairlawn Cemetery in Dalton by the Rev. George J. Mathews, pastor, Trinity Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 W. Grove St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411 or the donor's favorite charity.
