Rose Marie Wisti Teufert, 70, of Clarks Summit, died Thursday afternoon in Atlantic City, N.J. Her husband is Charles Teufert.
Born in Elmont, N.Y., daughter of the late Einar and Miriam Andersen Wisti, she was a woman of the Lutheran faith and had been a resident of Clarks Summit since 1989. Before retirement, she was a hairdresser and salon owner in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y.
Also surviving are two sons, Charles E., Montague, N.J.; and Frederick V., Dunmore; a sister, Jane Belding, Howland, Maine; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jaclyn and Callie; nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wisti.
There will be a graveside service Tuesday at noon at the Pinelawn Cemetery on Long Island.
Friends may call Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
