Rose Marie Moeller

Rose Marie Moeller, from North Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4th in her son's home in Ransom Township.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Moeller, who passed away in 1982.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was retired from her work as a telephone operator.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and, above all, enjoyed dining out and being social with her friends and family.  Despite her name, she didn't live as a delicate flower.  Instead, she laughed and lived by the lyrics of a song from one of her favorite singers, Frank Sinatra's "My Way."

Surviving are her sons Eric and wife Barbara, Ransom, and Paul and wife Ann, Buffalo, NY, and her daughters June Urzi and her husband Tony, FL, and Josephine, FL; grandchildren, Laura Moeller, Anthony Urzi, and Paul Moeller, Jr.; She is also survived by her companion, Norm Clausen, FL.

She was also predeceased by her brother, Richard.

A blessing service by Reverend Seth Wasnock, Assistant Pastor of Our Lady of Snows, will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.  Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.

For those wishing to honor mom, in lieu of flowers - which mom would see as "a waste cause they're dead in a week" - the family suggests that you have a night out at a favorite restaurant and give an inappropriately large gratuity to your waiter - but only if the service is good!

Interment will be held at a later date in The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
