Ronald A. Zinn

Ronald A. Zinn 80, of South Abington Township died Wednesday following a brief illness at Regional Hospital, Scranton. Born November 10, 1937 in Scranton, son of the late Dallas and Loretta Riccardo Zinn, he was of the Catholic faith and was educated in Dunmore public schools.

Ronald received great enjoyment spending time with his family. He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and father figure to his 2 youngest sisters. Ronald will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Before retirement he was partners with his brother Leonard in Zinn's Westside Sunoco, Scranton from August 1977 to 1987. Later he and his brother were owner/operators and drove tractor trailer across country for Mayflower Movers.

His family thanks, Caregivers America for the home healthcare they provided for Ronald, especially Michele Morales, for the care and compassion given to Ronald and his family during his illness.

Surviving is brother Leonard Zinn of South Abington Township. Four sisters; Dolores Cillo and husband Anthony of Middlesex, NJ, Loretta James and husband John of Piscataway, NJ, Deborah Cotillis and husband Douglas ,of Scranton and Cheryl Fairbanks and husband Glenn of Fleetville. Two nieces, six nephews, four great-nieces and seven great-nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated  at a time to be determined. Interment Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore.
