Ronald White

Ronald A. White, 65, passed away Friday, March 18, at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia.

Born May 21, 1956, in Montrose, he was the son of the late David and Idella Morgan White. He was a graduate of Elk Lake High School. He worked as a manufacturing mechanic and, in his spare time, enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, who he called "Butterfly".

Surviving are his daughter, Penny and husband, Scott Singer; son, Randy White, Montrose; and two grandchildren, Julie and Dillon Singer.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at noon at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Pastor Dorothy Rugg. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Miller Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
