Ronald S. "Ron" Galichinski, 55, of Jackson, died Saturday at home. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Deborah Osowski Galichinski.

Born in Philadelphia, son of Richard Galichinski and Charlotte Brenner Barron, Ron was a graduate of Abington High School in Abington, and was a self-employed building contractor, partnered with his sons. In addition, he traveled for several years, nationally and internationally, installing and maintaining many of the Doppler Radar equipment shelters for the National Weather Service.

Ron had a passion for building and loved his work. He also enjoyed muscle cars, the outdoors and RVing to the western national parks, with Yellowstone being his favorite. His main enjoyment in life was his family, including his dog, Thunder, and his love of God.

Also surviving are two sons, Justin and Joshua Galichinski, Jackson; four brothers, Robert Brenner and wife, Marianne, Reinholds; Richard Galichinski, Chalfont; Victor Galichinski and wife, Regina, Norristown; and Joseph Galichinski, Las Vegas; a half-brother, Steven; half-sisters, Regina and Kristina; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Errol Morgan, pastor of the Parker Hill Community Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
