Ronald J. Maslousky, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late George and Mary Varish Maslousky. Ronald was a Veteran of the Korean War. While stationed in Germany, he served in Medical Corps in the United States Army.
Ronald "Ronny" was a graduate of Penn State University. Prior to his retirement, he made a living as a mechanical engineer for Tobyhanna and various other corporations. He loved cars and owned a car dealership for many years in Clarks Summit.
Ronny enjoyed the simple things in life. He had an active lifestyle of going on long walks and looked forward to home cooked meals. He was an avid reader and did routine crossword puzzles everyday to keep his mind sharp. He was a child at heart and loved taking his children to Disney while growing up and playing with his grandchildren. Ronny was very religious and often went to church and lit candles for his loved ones who needed it most. He would most often be found hanging out at the pool on Sunny Side Ave. in the summertime. Ronald was truly an incredible father, grandfather and brother. His wisdom and dry humored nature will be greatly missed.
Ronny was preceeded in death by his parents (aforementioned) Mary and George Maslousky, former wife Theodora Malara, and young brother Francis "Frankie" Maslousky.
He is survived by his 3 children; Mark Maslousky, Kathryn Padula, and Paul Maslousky; his five grandchildren: Erica Padula, Mara Padula, Michael Maslousky, Matthew Maslousky, Heather Turock; and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers George Maslousky (Adelphi, MD) and Paul Maslousky (Calverton, MD) and sister Lorraine Vaxmonsky (West Pittston).
