Ronald C. Green

Ronald Charles Green, 81, of Clarks Summit slipped peacefully into eternity on April 14, 2015 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was the husband of Nancy Leshinsky Kettell Green. The couple has been married for 20 years.

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Lydiette Green. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and prior to his retirement he was employed at the Bendix Corporation, South Montrose, PA as an engineering technician for 35 years. His methodical and accurate workmanship made him a valuable employee. He was a member of the Clarks Summit Methodist Church and was a 32nd degree Mason of the Keystone Consistory and Waverly Masonic Lodge F& AM #301.
Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Also surviving are two daughters, Debbie Schirra and her husband Gary and Donna Pasternak and her husband Mike, three step children, Kent Kettell and his wife Karen, Kevin Kettell and his wife Andre, and Kerrie Kettell, four grandchildren, April, Brian, Brandy, and Cody, 17 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many cousins.

A funeral service, with masonic rites, will be held Friday at 11 am from the Lawrence E. Young funeral home, 418 South State St. Clarks Summit, PA 18411. Interment will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery , Dalton, PA.

Friends may call Friday from 10am until time of service.
