Ronald Driesbaugh, 66, of Clarks Summit, passed away Monday morning at Wilkes Barre General Hospital.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Lester L. and Martha Michalik Driesbaugh. A graduate of Abington Heights High School, he was a printer for various printing companies in the area, and prior to his retirement was employed by Roto-Rooter. He had also served in the Army Reserves.
Ron was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his friends and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was a music lover, a terrific cook and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving are a son Jason and his wife Kate, Havertown, PA; a daughter Jennifer Proeger and husband Tony, Daytona Beach, FL; three brothers, Lester W., Clarks Summit, Richard and his wife Patricia, Scranton and Andrew and his wife Linda, Clarks Summit; a sister Ann Marie Scoda and her husband Raymond, Clarks Green; a sister-in-law Carol Driesbaugh, Clarks Summit, and three granddaughters, Paige Proeger, Elizabeth Driesbaugh, and Abigail Driesbaugh.
He was preceded in death by a brother Timothy and a sister Mary Kay Driesbaugh.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of the service.
