Romuald "Roman" Przyborowski, 82, of Glenburn Twp. died Monday evening at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. Andreoski, in January 2005.
Born in Skalat, Poland, son of the late Vincent and Lucyna Dobrazanska Przyborowski. He was a resident of Glenburn Twp. since 1979 and before retirement, he was a mechanical engineer for Weston Co., now Lockheed Martin. He was a veteran of the Polish Army, and served during World War II.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, and the Polish Army Veterans. He was also a graduate of Drexel College and LaSalle University.
He will be missed by all of his neighbors, especially the children who constantly visited his house. Giving out candy to all of the children always made him smile. His sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving is a brother, Feliks, Konskie, Poland.
A funeral Mass will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown.
Friends may call Sunday, noon to 1:45 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lackawanna County Humane Society, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, 18411.
