Robert James Lukaschunis

Robert J. Lukaschunis, Dickson City, died Friday. His surviving wife is the former Alice Owens. They recently celebrated their 47th anniversary. He was a truck driver and farmer all his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Kelly. He will be deeply missed.

Surviving are children: Robert Lukaschunis, Michael Lukaschunis, George Lukaschunis and wife Cheryl, Sandra Seamans and husband Donald, Bonnie Owens and companion T.J. Smith, Rose Lukaschunis. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Lukaschunis; and daughter, Wanda Keene.

Grandchildren: Samantha Johnson and husband Kristofer, Daniel Flynn, Kourtney Thomas, Timothy Ferraro and wife Jessica, Donna Gavek and husband Corey, Norma Root and husband Bryan, Amber Lukaschunis, Adam Lukaschunis, Autumn Lukaschunis, Erica Lukaschunis, Kobie Lukaschunis,Cherie Burdick and husband Mike, Kathleen Miller and husband Charlie, Amila Baker, and Georgia Moore.

Great-grandchildren: Alyvia, Kayden, Todd, Bentley, Reece, Natalie, Teagan, Alex, Landon, Bradley, Axel, Pyper, Bella, Terance, Ryan, Olivia, Khloe, Charleigh, Haley, Brooklyn, Omari, and Stevie.

An open memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
