Robert Christopher Leister, 50, of South Abington Twp., died Saturday night at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He was the husband of the former Cathy Jo Ferrara. The couple had been married for more than 20 years.
Born in Kearny, N.J., son of Richard Leister, New Jersey, and the late Marilyn Egbert, he was a supervisor for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority before retirement.
Also surviving are two sons, Andrew R. and Charles R.; and a daughter, Julia L., all at home; five siblings; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Sarah Lenahan, South Abington Twp.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Glenn Amos, pastor, Heritage Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Vernard Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411.
