Robert William Jacoby Jr., 55, from Clarks Summit, PA, died April 10 th at Strong Hospital in NY.  He was a 1983 graduate of Abington Heights High School. He served 4 years in the Army and had been stationed in Korea for a year.

When you heard "Yo Buddy", you knew Bobby Jacoby was in the room.

He worked all his adult life in excavating.  He started working for his uncle at Jacoby Excavating and then owned his own excavating business, Jacoby Brothers.  Later he worked with other contractors, family, and friends.

He was a diehard Steelers fan. He loved hanging with friends, playing pool, fishing, horseshoes, singing karaoke, and spending time at the Thousand Islands.

Surviving are his parents, Robert Sr. and Karen Jacoby, Crystal River FL; daughter Breanne Ryan and husband Mike; grandchildren Shane and Kyla, TN; sister Donna Stangline and husband Dave, Spring Brook, PA; brother David Jacoby and wife Amy, Clarks Summit PA; nephews Sean McDonough, Orlando, FL, Eric and Scott Jacoby, Clarks Summit, PA, niece Corinne Jacoby, Clark Summit, PA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 15th at 1 p.m. at the Newton Cemetery, Newton Township.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
