Robert Hice, 65, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Friday morning at Lackawanna Health and Rehab Center in Peckville.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Kenneth Burson and Marilyn Ruth Lesh Hice. He was 1968 graduate of Abington Heights High School where he was a member of the Wrestling team. He earned a Bachelor Degree from Drexel , where he was a member of the Alpha Phi Lambda Fraternity; and a Master's Degree from Widener College. Prior to his retirement he was a self employed Certified Public Accountant.

Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman who often went deep sea fishing in Cape May. He loved football and especially enjoyed watching and cheering on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Surviving are a sister, Barbara Thompson, Newton Twp.; a brother, Barry Hice and his wife Virginia, of Hamden, CT; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Rex Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 4 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 at the funeral home.
