Rex Alan Clemmer

Rex Alan Clemmer, age 62, formerly of Tunkhannock, died  Friday, May 12  at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility in Scranton.

Born September 30, 1954 in Allentown, he was the son of Roy H. Clemmer and the late Charlotte Jean Kinkade Clemmer.  Prior to his illness, Rex was employed as a laborer with Staff Management at Procter & Gamble.

Rex was very proud of the brown belt he had earned in karate, and could out drive a man twice his size on the golf course.  He was friendly to everyone he met and well liked by all who knew him.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two daughters, Lindsey Clemmer, Ashville, NC and Ashley Clemmer, San Diego, CA; a sister, Susan Minahan, Camp Hill; and a brother John Clemmer, Camp Hill.

A Celebration of Rex's Life will take place at a later date.  Interment will take place in New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ Cemetery, East Greenville, PA.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA.
