Reinhold G. Schneidereit of Mountaintop died Sunday morning at home. His wife is Adele Breitling Schneidereit.
Born in East Prussia, Germany, he was a son of the late Erich and Ida Maria Grigull. Before retirement, he was a self-employed manufacturer of dump trucks. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Also surviving are a son, Mike and wife, Natalie, Long Valley, N.J.; a daughter, Tanja Schneidereit Adonizio and husband, Christian, Clarks Summit; a brother, Gerd Schneidereit, Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany; and four grandchildren, Hunter Schneidereit and Alexis Rawson, Long Valley; and Maria and Christopher Adonizio, Clarks Summit.
A private funeral service was held at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Germany. Online condolences may be sent at www.law renceeyoungfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702.
