Raymond Zabawa

Raymond Zabawa 68, of Johnson City, NY died Friday Sept. 14 at home. He was the widower of the former Marie O'Connell.

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late John and Irene Narsavage Zabawa. He was a graduate of North Pocono High School and achieved his Bachelor's degree in secondary education from Bethel College in McKenzie, TN. He went on to teach for some time, but later worked in numerous factories and warehouses as a supervisor. Raymond enjoyed photography and was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving is a son Timothy, of Scranton; a brother Jack Zabawa and wife Marcia, Clarks Green; a sister Dolores Gruber, Scranton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services have been set for Raymond Zabawa, who died Friday Sept. 14 ^th in Johnson City, NY.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 13 ^th at 7 pm at the Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Venard Road, Clarks Summit, PA.  Friends may call from 6 pm until the time of service.
