Pauline Medico

Pauline Medico, 89, of So. Abington Twp., died August 18, 2017 at Abington Manor.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ferrari and Mary Mascaro.

She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and prior to retirement worked as an executive secretary at various firms in the area.  She was a member of St. Gregory's Parish, Clarks Green.

She was an avid reader belonging to many book clubs.  Pauline loved to cook and she was an exceptional decorator. She was a member of the Dunmore Chapter of UNICO.

Surviving is a sister, Estelle M. Byers, Clarks Summit; nieces, Lynne Romanczuk and her husband Walter, Pickens, SC, and Leslie Grega and her husband Vincent, Factoryville; nephews, Gilbert Rossetti and his wife Nanci, Forest City, and the Rev. Mark Rossetti, New York, NY; great niece, Yekaterina Grega; great nephews, Robert, Brian and Kyle Viercinski, Gilbert and Gregory Rossetti and Serge Grega; her dear friend, Dr. Joseph  Olivieri, New York, NY.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dominick Rossetti, three brothers, John and Gilbert Rossetti, and Francis Ferrari; a brother in law, John Byers; and a sister in law Jean Rossetti; and her companion of 20 years Peter Krayter.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Abington Manor and Elan Gardens for their kindness and the care given to Pauline.

A Memorial will take place at a date to be announced.  Internment took place in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA, 18411.
