Patrick J. Morgan of Falls passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.

Pat was born in Bronx, N.Y., on Sept. 28, 1944. He was the son of the late Ed and Marion (Costello) Morgan and married Mary Ann (Voda) Morgan on Oct. 16, 1976, in Meshoppen, Pa.

He had moved to Falls as a teenager and graduated from Falls-Overfield High School, class of 1964. During his life, Pat was a dairy farmer and also had been employed by Wyoming Sand and Stone, Geary Concrete and Martz Bus Co. Most recently, he was an owner/operator for Bestway Overseas Trucking. Pat served his country honorably in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a sharpshooter and received the National Defense Service Medal. He was a member of American Legion Post 945.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Mary Ann; cousins, Jimmy, Tom, Sheilah and Bernadette Tone; John Tonner; and their families. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Ruth Voda; Rosie and Art Sivers; Aggie and Richard Hitchcock; Andy and Janet Voda; Mike and Dorothy Voda; many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his cousin, Maureen Tone; and father-in-law, Ray Voda.

He enjoyed camping in their RV, traveling (especially cruises), and spending time with his family, pets and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, with services celebrated by the Rev. Jeffery Tudgay. All those attending are asked to go directly to the church. Interment at Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock, following the service.

Friends may call at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
