Patricia A. D'Azzo of South Abington Twp. died Sunday morning at VNA Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center. She was the wife of Matthew D'Azzo.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Mary Ellen Normoyle Sudbrink and the late William Sudbrink. Before retirement, she was employed at Carriage Barn Antiques in Clarks Summit. She was an active member and cantor of Our Lady of the Snows Church and a former member of St. John's Evangelist Church, Honesdale. Patricia was a Lamaze instructor and the co-founder of CALM. She was also active in community theater.
Also surviving are two sons, Jeffery D'Azzo, Franklin Square, N.Y.; and John David D'Azzo, Del Mar, Calif.; two daughters, Beth Thomas, Waymart; and Rosaleen Eastman, Scranton; five brothers, William and Thomas, Babylon, N.Y.; Dennis, Islandia, N.Y.; Robert, Alden, N.Y.; and Ronald, Ephrata; a sister, Eileen Vazquez, Ephrata; four grandchildren, Katherine Kelch, Evan, Aidan and Carin Thomas; many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.
