Patricia Champion

Patricia Champion, 74, of Clarks Summit, died Thursday afternoon at Geisinger CMC in Scranton.  Her husband of  54 years is Fred Champion.

A former resident of New York, she was the daughter of the late Michael Joseph and Marjorie Gavin.  She was a member of the Clarks Green Assembly of God Church.  Pat retired from the postal service. She was employed as a mail carrier for the postal service. Prior to that she helped with the family business, Champion Refrigeration, while raising three young children. She loved the lord and was an amazing human being. She will be so missed, but Heaven gained an angel.

Also surviving are a son Michael Champion and his wife Margie, Bayside, NY; two daughters, Kim Berkmann, Clarks Summit and Lisa Cutrone and her husband Anthony, North Port, NY; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers Michael and Larry.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc. 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit by Rev. Dan Miller, Pastor of Clarks Green Assembly of God.

The family will receive friends from 1pm until the time of the service.
