Patricia A. Calabro

Patricia A. Calabro, 87, of S. Abington Twp, died Tuesday evening November 6, 2018, at Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Peter Calabro. The couple would have celebrated their 48 ^th anniversary on November 7.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margarette Perry Cianflone. She was a graduate of Carbondale High School and worked for the Daystrom Company at an early age. After marriage she stayed at home with her children.

She was a member of The Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Green and volunteered routinely at the Abington Senior Center.

Patricia was a loving person who enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, and doing volunteer work.

Also surviving are two daughters , Susan Calabro Trist and her husband, Mark, Reno, Nevada, and Mary Calabro Bailey and her husband, Ken, Charlotte, NC; a son, Peter P. Calabro Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, S. Abington; a sister Ceil Schrader, Sayre; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Amanda, Mackenzie, Adam, Louis and Peter "PJ" III; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 am from the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Rd. Clarks Green, to be celebrated by Rev. John M. Lapera, Pastor. Interment will follow in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.   All those attending are asked to proceed directly to church.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
