Pamela Wedemeyer Giordano, 70, of Kennewick WA, and formerly of Clarks Summit PA, died on February 19 following a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children when she passed away.
She was born July 21, 1945, in Langley VA, the daughter of Charles Wedemeyer and Barbara (Caron).
Pamela was a graduate of Sayville High School in Long Island NY. She earned a dental hygiene degree from Temple University.
She had a wonderful spirit and loved life. She was dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking, traveling and fostering animals in need. She also served as a member of the Kennewick Historical Preservation Society.
Survivors include a son, Louis III (Jean) East Hanover, NJ; a daughter Jill (Orjan) Blom Kennewick, WA; a daughter Amanda (Eric) Martino Bernville, PA; grandchildren Sean and Clara; brother Jon Wedemeyer; sister Sharon Tanner and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers David and Jeff.
A memorial will be held at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home in Clarks Summit on Thursday March 17th from 5 - 7.
A private burial will take place at the Clarks Green Cemetery on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to ASPCA or The American Cancer Society.
