Olga Veety, 87, of Falls, died Tuesday afternoon at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She was the widow of Foster Wilbur Veety who died in July. The couple had been married for over 63 years at the time of his death.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Koval.
She attended Mt. Bethel Church and worked side by side with her husband on their family farm. Olga took pride in caring for her family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is a son Foster William Veety and his wife Roxann, Falls Twp.; and three grandchildren, Leanna, Samantha and Craig Veety, all of Falls Twp.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State, Clarks Summit. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery.
