Nancy Lynn Hannon, 61, of Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at her home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazelton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorthy Woodring Eisenhower. She was a graduate from Hazelton High School and prior to her illness worked as a beautician. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Clarks Summit.
During her high school years, Nancy excelled on the high school swim team and held many records. She was a member of the YMCA and the Girl Scouts. She also enjoyed shuffle board, reading, and had a great love for rescuing animals.
Surviving is a daughter Sabrina Hannon, Scranton; and a brother Wayne Eisenhower, Conyngham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2pm, from the Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 W. Grove St. Clarks Summit, with services by Rev. George Mathews, Pastor. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until time of service at the church
