Milo R. Farnham, 78, of Scott Twp., died Saturday morning at Abington Manor, South Abington Twp. His wife, Regina Zenzel Farnham, died in 1996. The couple was married 36 years.
Born in Fleetville, he was the son of the late Boyd Cleveland and Grace Margaret Baylor Farnham. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed furniture upholster. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who always had a colorful story to tell.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Abington Manor for the wonderful care and compassion at the end. Thanks also to the owners and staff at the Gourmet Restaurant, who always kept his seat open for him.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Akulonis and husband, George, Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by nine brothers, Fred, Earl, Paul, Donald, Roy, Melvin, Lynn, Richard and Ralph; and a sister, Nina.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Judy Wanck, pastor of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Chase Cemetery, Fleetville. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
