Mildred Smith, 98, of Glenburn Twp., died Saturday evening at Abington Manor Nursing Facility in S. Abington Twp. She was the wife of the late Ralph Smith, who died in 1992.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Davis Bedell. Prior to her retirement she was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone.
Mildred had a great love for animals especially for her cockatiel "Nikki". She also enjoyed Crocheting.
She was preceded in death by a sister Margaret Betty Bedell.
The funeral service and interment will be private at the convenience of the Family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, Pa. 18411.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor Pa. 18517.
